BJJ Nonprofit Aims to Raise $100K in 2013, Needs Funds to Purchase New Mats

Tap Cancer Out has a sizable goal in mind for 2013, but they’re asking for some help to get there.

The jiu-jitsu-based nonprofit organization aims to raise $100,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2013 by hosting four fundraising tournaments during the year. Before they can do that, however, they need $15,000 to lay the groundwork -- literally, by purchasing 2,400 square feet of mats from Zebra Mats for tournament competitors to grapple on.

Check the video above for a more thorough explanation, or head over to TCO’s Indiegogo page to see what you can get for your donation. They’re offering t-shirts, gis, patches, even some swag signed by Rickson Gracie.
