Diaz, Melendez Wins Hasten Call for Super Fights

Gilbert
Melendez steamrolled Tatsuya
Kawajiri in 3:14 of what can only be described as unabated
fury.
Melendez promised improved standup and a showcase argument for him taking on the UFC’s best. He delivered, big time, and this win only ramps up public demand to see him take on the UFC’s top lightweights.
If there is anybody in the UFC that would be more than a 2-to-1 favorite over him, I do not see it. Melendez, along with Nick Diaz, created a huge argument for both of them to cross the figurative bridge.
