Duane Ludwig Thinks Dillashaw-Barao Would Be an Excellent Matchup in a Year
Duane
Ludwig, on “Beatdown,”
discussing a potential matchup between Renan Barao
and T.J.
Dillashaw:
“I think it’s an excellent matchup. I’d like for it to wait for about another year and give T.J. a couple more fights and experience and time in the cage and such, but I think it’s an excellent matchup. Just for our own benefit, I’d like to hold off on that fight for another year and a couple more fights. Maybe at the end of this year or the beginning of next year would be nice. That would be the ideal situation to give T.J. a couple more fights, a couple more wins, more experience, more game planning, face some more adversity than he has. He’s been running through his opponents for the most part, so I’d like for him to get some tougher matchups. I want him to always run through his opponent, but that’s not always going to be the case. I want him to face more adversity in the cage and deal with it.”
