Hector Lombard Formally Changes Nickname from ‘Lightning’ to ‘Showeather’

Lombard, known to fans throughout his 10-plus year mixed
martial arts career as “Shango” and “Lightning,” now has a new
nickname.
In a post on the 36-year-old’s Facebook account, Lombard on Tuesday announced that he will now go by the moniker “Showeather.”
The American Top Team product has won two straight fights since dropping a split decision to Yushin Okami. Currently recovering from an injury, Lombard was supposed to fight Dong Hyun Kim on Aug. 23 before being replaced by Tyron Woodley.
