Sengoku Raiden Championship veteran A Sol Kwon will put his career-best six-fight winning streak on the line when he meets once-beaten Filipino import Eduard Folayang in the One Fighting Championship “Champion vs. Champion” main event on Saturday at the 12,000-seat Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. The event will stream live on Sherdog.com.

Spawned by the Martial Combat and Universal Reality Combat Championship promotions, the 26-year-old Folayang has won his last four fights and enters with momentum of his own. Other matches featured prominently at the event include a welterweight tilt pairing Yoshiyuki Yoshida with fellow UFC veteran Phil Baroni, a lightweight duel pitting “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 5 alum Andy Wang against fellow Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Zorobabel Moreira and a welterweight bout matching two-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Gregor Gracie with Pancrase veteran Seok Mo Kim.

Opened on New Year’s Eve in 1989 at a cost of $90 million, the Singapore Indoor Stadium provides flexibility for its visitors and can be downsized to accommodate crowds of less than 3,000. Featuring a cone-shaped roof, a pillarless arena and a scenic waterfront, complete with retail shops and restaurants, the facility was designed by famed Japanese architect Kenzo Tange. Considered one of the most influential architects of the 20th Century, Tange was also behind the design of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima, Japan; Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo; the United Overseas Bank Plaza in Singapore; and the American Medical Association headquarters in Chicago.

The Signapore Indoor Stadium serves as the home venue for the Singapore Sports Council and the Singapore Slingers, of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Basketball League.
