The UFC’s light heavyweight division is slowly adding some much-needed depth, and Hill is the promotion’s latest interesting flier. A graduate of the most recent season of Dana White’s Contender Series, Hill is still quite early in his career, but he has put in some solid work in his six pro fights and has shown some potential as a lanky kickboxer with some decent wrestling.
Hill will make his Octagon debut against Serbia’s Stosic, who has had trouble finding his footing in the UFC thus far. Stosic looked interesting as a regional heavyweight prospect, but deciding to cut down to light heavyweight may be what undoes his UFC career, as he has gone from athletic to plodding in the process.
Stosic did have his best performance to date against Kennedy Nzechukwu in July, but Hill is the quicker fighter and should be able to keep him at a distance. The pick is Hill via decision.
