HONOLULU, Sept. 1 — Competitors fighting on ICON Sport’s September
2 event weighed-in Friday at Oahu’s Neal S. Blaisdell Arena.
Middleweight challenger Jason "Mayhem" Miller, who claimed to weigh 197 pounds at a press conference on Wednesday, stepped off the scale at 182, three pounds under division limit.
Meanwhile, ICON champion Robbie Lawler (Pictures) was a no-show for most of the weigh-ins and was rumored to be having weight problems. At the conclusion of the weigh-ins, Lawler had not yet stepped on the scale.
Sherdog.com later learned from Patrick Freitas, ICON Sport Director of Promotions, that Lawler had made the 185-pound limit.
All other fighters on the card made weight on time, and were cleared to fight on Saturday.
