Beatdown: Johny Hendricks

Jack Encarnacao and TJ De Santis returned to the Sherdog Radio Network for another edition of “Beatdown.” Joining them on Monday’s edition was UFC welterweight contender Johny Hendricks.

“The Bigg Rigg” was scheduled to face Jake Ellenberger at UFC 158 in Montreal. However, the Team Takedown product finds himself in a matchup with former UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit. Hendricks joined the program today to talk about his decision to switch opponents when Condit’s original fight with Rory McDonald fell through. Hendricks breaks down the fight, his thoughts on Condit as an opponent, and how the win will affect his goal of vying for a UFC title.

Jack and TJ also take listener calls, emails, and tweets. The guys also breakdown the news that Jon Fitch and Jacob Volkmann have been cut from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
