Rewind: Kenny Florian

The Sherdog Radio Network “Rewind” returned Sunday night. This week Jack Encarnacao welcomed Kenny Florian to the program.

Kenny Florian’s career has spanned three different weight classes and three separate title fights. The Boston native has left the octagon for good opting for a seat cageside with Jon Anik for the UFC on FX and FuelTV broadcasts. “The Ultimate Fighter” season one finalist joined Jack to talk about his decision to walk away from the sport, his new position as color commentator, and to reflect on his career in mixed martial arts.

Jack also took a step back at last night’s UFC on Fox 4 card that saw Lyoto Machida punch his ticket to a future title fight with the winner of Jon Jones and Dan Henderson. Joining in his is new “Pro’s Perspective” segment was former UFC welterweight champion Pat Miletich. The current Showtime color commentator shared his thoughts on the fights from last night including the main event which saw Mauricio Rua defeat Brandon Vera by TKO in the fourth round.
