By The Numbers: Calvin Kattar vs. Arnold Allen

While reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight titleholder Alexander Volkanovski sets plans to go big-game hunting, those in line behind him at 145 pounds will be left to battle over the scraps that remain in his absence. The group includes Calvin Kattar and Arnold Allen, the participants in the UFC Fight Night 213 headliner on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Kattar enters the cage having lost twice in three appearances. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 37, where he wound up on the wrong side of a contentious split decision against Team Alpha Male’s Josh Emmett on June 18. Allen, meanwhile, finds himself on a career-best 11-fight winning streak. The Tristar Gym product last competed on March 19, when he disposed of Dan Hooker with punches and elbows in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 204 pairing.
